How it works

• It is light and bouncy: on a hard floor it bounces back up about half the height it fell, and on a trampoline nearly all of it.
• Wind pushes it fairly easily, and a pair of balloons can carry it.
• It is too light to press down a weighing scale on its own.
• A basket stops it bouncing the moment it lands inside.

Tips

• Put a basket under its landing spot: it settles there instead of bouncing away.
• Fans and gusts of air move it easily, so keep it out of any wind you do not want.
