Chapter 1, Getting Rolling
Bowling Ball
A heavy ball that barely bounces. Hard to stop once it rolls, and it knocks lighter things aside.
How it works
- It is heavy and barely bounces, so it keeps its speed when it lands.
- Nothing slows a rolling ball much, so once it is moving it keeps going a long way.
- It hits hard. It topples dominoes, rings bells and flips lever switches even at a gentle roll.
- A fan cannot lift it, but it can push it along a flat floor.
Tips
- Use its weight, not its speed: a slow bowling ball still flips a lever switch that a light ball would miss.
- Because it is heavy, it can knock a steel ball off a magnet if it arrives fast enough.
Where you'll meet it
You first meet it in level 1, First Roll, in chapter 1, Getting Rolling.
