Gravity Field

Inside its square, things fall the way its arrow points, even upwards. Balloons float the other way.

How it works

  • Inside its square, gravity points along its arrow instead of down, even upwards.
  • Everything is pulled the same way, whatever it weighs. Balloons float against the arrow.
  • A thing is inside when its middle is. The edge blends smoothly between the two gravities.
  • Give it a colour and it works only while that colour's power is on. Switched off in a run, it shows only its outline and its four dark corner lights; in build mode it is drawn switched on.

Tips

  • In an upward field, put a shelf or ceiling to catch things, or they bob at its top edge for ever.
  • Switch a field on and off to drop something one way, then bring it back.
