Steel Ball

How it works

• It is small, heavy and barely bounces. It is also magnetic.
• A magnet pulls it from a distance if it sits in the wedge in front of the poles. It sticks to the poles once it arrives.
• A fast bowling ball or a boxing glove can knock it off a magnet.
• It is small enough to roll into a tube.

Tips

• A steel ball that comes to rest in a magnet's pull zone is pulled right back up, so pick where you let it settle.
• Magnets only pull in front of their poles. Point them at the ball.
