Long Pendulum
A swinging weight that switches its power on and off as it swings. One swing takes 2.5 seconds.
How it works
- It is a bob on a long rod, let go at the start of the run and swinging under gravity.
- It is the slowest and widest of the pendulums, so its pulses come furthest apart.
- Its power is on for half of every swing, and off for the other half.
- The bob is solid and can hit things on its way.
Tips
- Pick the long one for slow pulses and a wide sweep.
- Its arc is big, so check that nothing is in the way.
