Chapter 14, Smart Circuits
Relay
Passes each power change from one colour to another, half a second later.
How it works
- It takes power in one colour and passes each change on in another colour a short moment later.
- It passes changes on in order, so pulses keep their length and are only shifted later.
- Two relays in a row add their delays.
- Its coil wears the input colour, and its output wears the other.
Tips
- Use a relay to make something happen shortly after a button is pressed.
- Chain relays for a longer delay.
Where you'll meet it
You first meet it in level 135, Timetable, in chapter 14, Smart Circuits.
