Chapter 13, Clockwork
Wind-Up Toy
A clockwork car that drives off at the start and turns round at walls, until its spring runs down.
How it works
- A clockwork spring drives its wheels, so it drives off when the run starts.
- The spring is used up by turning the wheels, so it slows down and stops after a few seconds.
- It turns round at fixed walls, blocks and steps, and at tall loose parts. It pushes lower loose parts ahead of it.
- Slopes slow it, and a steep slope stalls it. It rings a bell it bumps and topples a domino as it turns.
Tips
- It does not run far, so start it near where it is needed.
- It is too light to flip a lever switch, but it does press a wall button.
Where you'll meet it
You first meet it in level 121, Wound Up, in chapter 13, Clockwork.
