Chapter 3, Strings Attached
Candle
A flame that burns ropes and fuses, pops balloons and melts ice. Water puts it out.
How it works
- Its flame burns through a rope, pops a balloon, melts ice, and lights fuses, rockets and kegs.
- The flame reaches through walls and shelves, so it can act on things behind them.
- Water, or a gust from bellows, puts it out for the rest of the run. After that it has no flame and no heat.
- A Hot-Air Balloon rises over a candle's heat. The flame does not pop it.
Tips
- Keep it well clear of ropes and balloons that you want to stay whole.
- A single drop of water puts a candle out for good, which can save a rope or a balloon.
Where you'll meet it
You first meet it in level 23, Slow Burn, in chapter 3, Strings Attached.
