The Loop as it looks in the game
Chapter 18, Chain Reaction

Loop

A ball fast enough rolls round it and on out. One too slow falls off at the top and rolls back.

How it works

  • A ball rolling fast enough goes round the loop and out the other side.
  • A ball that is too slow falls off near the top, drops to the bottom and rolls back the way it came.
  • It works both ways round, and it has its own base, so it can stand on the floor or in mid-air.
  • Bigger balls need a little less speed to get round.

Tips

  • Give the ball a long run-up or a good drop first, so it arrives with enough speed.
  • A ball that falls into the loop, or comes out of a warp ring, has no spin, so it needs more speed.
  • A ball that fails can sit in the loop and block the next one.

Where you'll meet it

You first meet it in level 172, Fashionably Late, in chapter 18, Chain Reaction.
