Sponge

How it works

• It soaks up every drop of water that touches it, up to a limit, getting darker and heavier.
• It is very light when dry and weighs a lot when full.
• It drinks from a glass too, so it can empty one.

Tips

• Keep a sponge away from a glass you are trying to fill, unless draining it is the point.
• A slowly filling sponge is a timer and a growing weight at once.
