How it works

• It is light when empty and gets heavier as it fills.
• Tie a rope to its handle and it hangs level.
• It holds only so much. After that, extra water overflows.
• Filled, it can outweigh a crate on a pulley, but never a bowling ball.

Tips

• A bucket under a tank is a timer and a growing weight at once.
• Drop the rope's end right on the handle knob on top.
