Chapter 9, Flip the Switch
Lever Switch
A lever: tipped right, its power is on; tipped left, off. A ball rolling into it can flip it.
How it works
- It is a lever. It leans right when on and left when off, and it sends its colour's power while it leans right.
- A rolling ball can push it over, but only from the side the lever leans towards. A ball from the left switches an off lever on, and one from the right switches it back off.
- Heavy balls flip it at a gentle roll. A tennis ball needs to be going fast.
- A switch can be mounted on a wall or a ceiling, and it holds its position until something pushes it.
Tips
- Roll a heavy ball in, not a light one.
- Gentle touches do nothing. A ball set down against it, or a part dropped on its knob, will not flip it.
- Flip it in the tray to make it start switched on.
Where you'll meet it
You first meet it in level 81, Off Switch, in chapter 9, Flip the Switch.
