Chapter 10, Laser Lab
Light Sensor
Switches its power on while a laser beam shines into its lens.
How it works
- It sends its colour's power while a laser beam shines into its lens, and stops as soon as the beam is blocked.
- Any laser's beam lights any sensor.
- The lens is narrow: the beam has to land on its small front face, though it may arrive at a steep angle. A beam on the back or sides does nothing.
- Something that crosses the beam cuts the power for a moment.
Tips
- Aim for the middle of the lens. A beam that just misses it does nothing, and the further away the laser is, the finer the aim.
- A ball falling through the beam blocks it for a moment, which makes a quick tripwire.
Where you'll meet it
You first meet it in level 91, First Light, in chapter 10, Laser Lab.
