Chapter 9, Flip the Switch
Spring Pad
Launches anything that lands on its plate, always at the same speed. Turn it to aim.
How it works
- A spring pad launches anything that lands on its plate, at the same speed every time.
- Size and weight do not matter: a tennis ball and an anvil leave at the same speed.
- It throws along the direction the plate faces, so turn it to aim.
- A ball can be launched again after a short pause, so a ball dropped on a flat pad keeps bouncing.
Tips
- Tilt the pad to throw a ball sideways. The throw goes furthest at about 45 degrees; tilted more, it flies lower and lands shorter.
- A ball bouncing on a flat spring never stops by itself, so catch it or move it on.
Where you'll meet it
You first meet it in level 84, Leapfrog, in chapter 9, Flip the Switch.
